Volunteering here for 4 weeks makes me wonder how tough life is here. People told me that a year ago Nepal was lively, tourists could be seen everywhere, the tourism industry was flourishing. Then the great earthquake happened. You can see no life after 9 pm, everything is dark, there are no lights. Electricity was cut, fuel and water became scarce, and to make things worse, the unstable politics contributed to the inflation of prices. I see many NGOs and Nepalese youth trying to help Nepal, but we still need a bigger leap and more funds to end this crisis and improve Nepal's economic condition. Therefore, why don't we invest in public utilities to create sustainable development for Nepal?
