The Silk Road on the Internet

In October 2013,Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang announced the “The Belt and Road Initiatives”during their visits to Southeast Asian countries.It was envisaged to promote interconnectivity and economic integration in the region.It will focus on the development of infrastructure and other productive sectors in Asia,including energy and power,transportation and telecommunications,urban development and logistics,etc. Maybe in the five years,you can go to Thailand by high-speed train or you can get your packages from abroad within 24 hours.
The Initiatives embody the spirit of the ancient Silk Road, which has a history of over 2,000 years and was used by the peoples of many countries for friendly exchange and commerce. Today,We renew that spirit and bring it up to date.
Nowadays,the population of Chinese middle class is 300 million,whose demands for good products and services are so powerful.Meanwhile,the small business in China face the strong challenges since 2008.
In order to change the situations,The Chinese government start to explore Cross-Border E-Coommerce,which is the new motive force of the “The Belt and Road Initiatives”.And Hangzhou, the center of China e-commerce is placed on great hopes.
